Troy, Michigan – A young White girl was the victim of a brutal assault at an area shopping mall last week. For the crime, police arrested and released a 25-year-old Black woman who some believe should be charged with a hate crime.

On the afternoon of January 12th, authorities were dispatched to the Somerset Mall in Troy for a reported assault on a young girl. After an investigation, Police say 25-year-old Reanna Valentine approached 10-year-old Sophia Simpson as she was buying a cookie from Mrs. Fields with her friends.

Valentine is then believed to have grabbed the girl’s head and slammed it into a plate glass display. She then laughed and walked off the premises.

The suspect was arrested the following day when security recognized her returning to the property. Police charged Valentine with simple assault—a misdemeanor—and was released on personal Bond with a GPS tracker. She’s also been banned from the mall.

After reviewing the mall’s CCTV footage, Police say Valentine’s alleged attack on a minor was entirely “unprovoked.” Now, the victim says she has been left with dizzy spells and lingering headaches days after the attack took place.

"She took her hand in the back of my neck and slammed it into the glass," said Simpson in an interview with FOX2 Detroit. "The car ride back, oh my gosh, it was terrible. I was so dizzy. I was actually really tired too."

"I started crying and then she turns around, she starts laughing at me, and then she puts on her mask and runs away. Like why? ...I didn't do anything to her," she continued.

Meanwhile, online, outraged citizens are demanding harsher punishment for those who brutally attack young girls. Because of the racial dynamics at play, many, are also demanding hate crime charges, for Valentine.

"MICHIGAN HATE CRIME—" said one post on X, formerly Twitter. "A 25-year-old black woman named Reanna Valentine slammed a 40-pound 10-year-old white child’s head into a glass display at a mall and ran away laughing with her friends."

"If a racist White lady attacked and beat up a 10-year-old black child she would rightfully be in prison," read another. "When a racist black lady attacks a 10-year-old white child there are basically no repercussions."

"Citys all across America are sentencing based on race. In San Francisco and Oakland DA’s openly said they want jails to be equitable. This means more time for the exact same crime if you are white or Asain(sic)," it continued.

Troy, a northern suburb of Detroit, Michigan, often reels from the effects of non-White criminality despite its location far from the predominantly Black Motor City. In December, a mixed-race murderer was sentenced to 27-40 years behind bars for assaulting two women—killing one—in a series of attacks birthed from a Troy Target parking lot. The judge presiding over the case said she had rarely "witnessed such evil" in her 27-year career.

In February, a months-long investigation by Troy police led to the arrest of three Black men for a series of burglaries and car thefts. Police say the suspects stole personal property from cars, including seven handguns.

"More #blackGirlMagic in the lovely chocolate city of Detroit. Another byproduct of White guilt, CRT and DEI. #BlackFatigue," read a post on X, formerly Twitter.

Fears that attacks on White children have become an unfortunate norm in the United States have only intensified, as violent criminals continue to skirt accountability for their reprehensible acts. Pro-Black, anti-White sentencing policies—along with activist judges, district attorneys, and local media—led to what some have called a "slap on the wrist" for Deshawn and Tyler Stafford, two Black men tried and convicted for killing White teenager Ethan Liming, in Akron Ohio.

Liming—a star athlete—was savagely beaten to death by three Black men at an elementary school basketball court. Despite overwhelming evidence which suggested Liming was murdered for his race, defense attorneys for the Black brothers insisted they acted in "self-defense." A jury agreed, and a Republican judge issued both adult attackers a paltry jail sentence of 18 months and six months, respectively. No hate crimes were ever considered.

Months later, in Las Vegas, another White teenager was killed, this time from a brutal beatdown executed by what police say were up to fifteen non-White teenagers. The victim, 17-year-old Jonathan Lewis, was attacked in an alleyway outside of his school, sparking outrage and accusations of an anti-White "lynching" by those in the community. Police were quick to declare that race wasn't a factor in Lewis' death despite not making any arrests until weeks after the incident unfolded.

On Christmas morning, two young White girls became the unwitting target of a brutal knife attack in New York City's iconic Grand Central Terminal. The suspect, a deranged, Black career criminal known to the NYPD before his attack, screamed "I want all the White people dead" as he launched into a knife-wielding frenzy.
